What's the most up to date firmware version for the DermapenWorld Devices? 

The most recent firmware DermapenWorld device version available is 1.7.1 released in February 2026.

Devices on the following firmware versions will update to 1.6.6 with 1 Sync and then to 1.7.1 with a second sync.

  • 1.0.0 
  • 1.1.1
  • 1.2.1
  • 1.3.1
  • 1.4.1
  • 1.5.1
  • 1.6.6 Devices on this firmware version to update to 1.7.1 with one sync. Operational changes to DermapenWorld devices were made on this Firmware Version. 
  • 1.6.7

Devices on the below firmware versions may require additional Syncs to update to firmware version 1.6.6 and then to 1.7.1

  • 0.3.7 - The first sync will take the device to Firmware Version 1.3.1. Performing another sync when this has been completed will take the device to Firmware Version 1.6.6 and then an additional sync to move to 1.7.1
  • 1.3.1 -The first sync will take your device to Firmware Version 1.6.6. Performing another sync will take the device to firmware version 1.7.1. Please note. 

Please note. Between Firmware Versions 1.3.1 and 1.6.7 for Dermapen HOME customers, you may be required to to check your smartphone/tablets settings and remove any 4AH connections that appear due to previous App Version Bluetooth Bonding.
