# Why do I need to place my Dp DOCK outside my sterile working environment?

It is important to store your Dp DOCK outside your sterile working environment to ensure there is no cross-contamination of any kind or any accidental spillage of Dp Dermaceuticals/liquids on the Dp DOCK.

We also suggest that you do not place your Dp DOCK too close to sink/water supply so the  warranty is not in danger of being voided.

It is best to place your Dp DOCK close to a Power Supply on a level surface outside of your sterile working environment.
